Coda is the first music streaming platform and NFT marketplace that provides the tools to help artists grow a strong community by letting listeners invest in and own music royalties.

What We Do


Coda helps artists grow by allowing our listeners to invest in the artists they love and profit alongside them! To accomplish this we are launching our first NFT collection to fund future operations.

The goal of Coda is to provide a streaming and social platform that is focused on helping artists build an engaged fan base that is easily monetizable through an in-app NFT and royalty sharing marketplace

Artists will be able to mint NFT collectables and royalty sharing NFTs where they can allow listeners to invest in their songs to get funding, instead of going to a label that takes 80% of the value the artist creates. Once a listener is invested with an artist, they help promote that artist’s growth. This way the artists will keep the 80% and 20% can go to their army of Coda Promoters!

How We Are Helping Artists



Coda resides on the Ethereum blockchain which allows users to collect instant payments, mint royalty sharing NFTs, collectable NFTs, NFTs with exclusive listening rights and many other features, giving the artist a lot more options for streams of income as well as creativity over distribution.

We are giving our artists ultimate creative freedom as to whom they make their songs and NFTs available. We give them the metrics to measure engagement and provide a feedback loop to help nurture a connection between artists and their listeners. This way artists can choose to gift their biggest fans and promoters special opportunities and exclusive NFTs, encouraging listeners to further support their favorite artists.

The sale of music rights and NFTs are important to create a shared interest between the artist and the listener, the better the artist does, the more the listener will benefit as well. The more the listeners do to help an artist grow their audience, the more they will both benefit.

How Coda Makes Money


The company makes money through a $9.99/mo and 29.99/mo premium subscription that allows access to special groups and exclusive NFTs. A small transaction fee is taken whenever payments are made within the platform. Artists and listeners will be paid out in a central ERC-20 token that the platform will run on.

Site Features


Artists are able to make their own social groups that they run from inside the platform, perfect for cultivating an engaged community. These groups are exclusive to whoever the artists choose. It could be their most engaged listeners, or maybe only their first 100 followers. They can also set a price for a monthly subscription fee, or plenty of other creative options. Artists can release exclusive NFTs, unreleased songs, and keep subscribers up to date within these groups. Artists can choose whether they want their group to be opted into the premium version of the platform or remain exclusive to the parameters they set. Small artists who value the exposure over the revenue will most likely opt in, while larger artists are likely to remain exclusive. The premium subscription allows the user access to all artist circles who opted to put their group as a part of the premium version.

Our user base is broken down into three tiers based on how much engagement each person is providing artists and the platform. There is a point system to keep track that unlocks special features as the user engages with the platform. Users earn different amounts of points for different actions, such as sharing the platform or music with friends, buying NFTs, donating to artists, listening to music, owning music rights, and many more. These points are then used to unlock things within the platform.

Solutions to Music Industry Problems

Slow payout times for artists

Big streaming platforms can take up to 12 months to pay artists once a song is streamed, with Coda they are paid instantly.

Small music ownership

Musicians and artists rarely own their own music rights. Coda solves this issue for the artist by putting them in control of their own distribution. At Coda, they control their own music rights and can decide how to distribute the revenues those rights generate through NFTs.

Small stream payout...

Instead of all subscription income going into a pool and paying out the biggest artists first, like other streaming platforms, we use a “user centric payout system”. This means that instead of going from you to a pool of money, it goes directly to your favorite artists. We are also providing direct donations to artists for people who really want to support their favorite musicians. We are opening up lots of new streams of revenue and better means of fundraising all together

No feedback loops...

We are connecting the artists and their listeners by having social groups that the artists operate within the platform. This helps cultivate a personal connection with listeners and results in a super supportive community of die-hard fans that can now act as promoters.

No incentive for listeners to help artists grow...

We are enabling our listeners to invest in the artists they love. Along with lots of other options, users can buy collectables, exclusive listening rights or a percentage of royalties in an artist’s song, etc. By Coda providing a method for these incentives, previously passive listeners now turn into the artist’s army of promoters, or as we like to call them “AMPs” (artist music promoters). Listeners now have reason to go out of their way to find new upcoming artists as well as share their favorite musical creators. Providing these incentives turns eyes to smaller artists giving them a massive boost as listeners hope to make a return from their growth.

Little control for artists...

In existing platforms artists have zero information about who their listeners are and which ones are their biggest contributors. Since we are able to fix this hole in the feedback loop, we are incentivizing listeners to be SUPER FANS. Artists can provide exclusive rights and opportunities to whatever demographic of their listeners they wish, putting them back in control of their own music.

What utility/financial benefits does buying a Coda Genesis NFT Provide?

Coda Genesis NFT holders will then be the first ones invited to the platform after reviewing small group user feedback and bug fixes.

Our user base will be broken down into tiers based on how much engagement listeners and artists are providing other artists. These tiers come with differing levels of benefits, one of which is higher revenue share percentage.

Active AMP listeners who share their playlists and grow their followers are entitled to a referral fee. They will receive a percentage of each listen streamed through their playlist. The higher each AMP’s engagement the more they earn. This encourages people to share their playlists and promote the artists on them.

Holding Coda Genesis NFT will jump start you off at the highest tier of revenue sharing available right out of the gate.

We will lock a percentage of the revenue generated from the launch to build the ERC-20 token that the platform will run off of, Coda Genesis NFT holders will have a large percentage of these coins distributed amongst them as a thank you for being the first to join this community

Large amounts of additional engagement points will be added to holders accounts when the first platform invites go out in 3-5 months. These points are used to unlock exclusive features and benefits within the platform.

Coda Genesis NFT holders will also receive access to 100 artist exclusive circles who opted into our premium model, giving you the opportunity to invest in highly lucrative NFTs, normally only available by subscription to the artist’s circle and set criteria. As stated before, we give full creative ability to the artists when it comes to whom they make their NFTs available.

This will be used to communicate with other holders and give the opportunity to have real input on how the site is built and features you may want added. It also gives access to any giveaways we may run in the future, exclusive NFT sales or other rewards for being our first users within that discord channel.

These future airdrops will provide further utility once the platform goes live and will be gifted as a continuous thank you to our first users.

Everyone who holds a Coda Genesis NFT will have an exclusive verification on their profile that proves they were one of the few early adopters to join the music revolution on our platform.

Three Master Keys: Each Coda Genesis NFT holder will receive three 3 Master Keys that are one time use only, but give the holder the ability to subscribe you to ANY exclusive artist group. This includes bigger artists with more popular NFT collections and higher prices, who may have more strict standards as to who they let into their exclusive circle.

If you are able to purchase a Coda Genesis NFT we will be sending out an NFT containing all the utilities promised to Genesis holders in the form of an airdrop. This will take place 3-4 weeks after the initial sale date, this gives our team time to continue to work on completing the smart contracts required to make this utility possible.

Why Are We Doing This?



There has been a long-standing battle in the music industry – who owns the rights to music, the artists or the label/studio?

People have tried to solve this problem over the years with little success. With the onset of Blockchain, Coda Streaming has the opportunity to solve this problem by giving artists more freedom over distribution and fundraising.

Every year extremely talented artists give up on their dream because the industry deck is stacked against them. Trying to raise money to buy expensive studio time to cut their tracks with professional production; once produced, getting those tracks played on radio stations; and the most challenging, trying to grow a loyal following so they can make a living off their creative gifts. With this, we coin the term, “Starving Artist.”

This is the mission that we have set out to accomplish and it is a problem worth devoting a lifetime to solving. The amount of care that our founding team has for making it that much easier for artists to bring a little magic into the world with their music is not matched by any other company. It is because of this care that we will succeed. We know how many people this platform will be able to help and how many lives it will change at its maximum reach. It would be an injustice to those people to let this opportunity slip by.

The Road to Success

  • Develop MVP of application
    Our team has constructed an MVP (minimum viable product) and is continuing to improve and test the platform
  • Raise vc Funding
    Our team has already raised $250,000 of VC funding from JGJ Ventures to continue to build out the MVP and to pour into marketing, brand awareness and user acquisition.
  • Coda Marketing
    $140,000 has been allocated to marketing and brand awareness to ensure a massively successful first drop at full scale.
  • Artists Partnerships
    We are currently in discussions and implementing deals with big name artists to ensure we cultivate a strong community and starting user base that will ensure the platform's health and growth.
  • NFT Fundraising Round
    Coda is aiming to raise $5,000,000 operating capital for the company from the Coda Genesis NFT drop. We are well backed and have extensive resources being contributed to marketing to support overall reach/awareness of our platform.
  • Use of Funds
    The $5,000,000 will be split between beta creation and further development of our team as well as the platform. Marketing and brand awareness to target crypto native musicians and provide more buzz around the platform will also be included in this spend. Some portion of that capital will be locked into an ERC 20 token that the site will run off to ensure instant payments to artists and listeners.
  • Private Alpha development
    This will take 2-3 months and select artists will then be brought on with an invite only basis in order to iron out the bugs, get user feedback on the alpha, and get a general collection of NFTs and music onto the platform. This will be done while simultaneously testing the NFT marketplace, royalty sharing, smart contracts, etc.
  • Building the beta
    Going from an alpha to a beta version of the platform will take approximately 1-2 more months. Commitments have been made from JGJ Ventures for additional rounds of funding if needed.
  • Inviting Select Users
    Coda Genesis NFT holders will then be the first ones invited to the platform after reviewing small group user feedback and bug fixes.
  • Before Product Launch
    Once the beta is built we will implement deals made with big name artists to ensure we have a good base of music and large audience when it comes time to launch.
  • Product Launch
    We will provide incentives to listeners and artists to share the platform in the form of engagement points, giveaways, special access IRL (in real life) events at prominent music festivals, discounts and more. We will also be allocating serious capital to attracting big names, expand brand awareness, and provide user growth incentives.

NFT stands for “non-fungible token” which are unique digital items that are stored and encrypted on the blockchain that people can buy, own, and trade. NFTs can simply be digital art but can have various benefits. They can be treated like membership cards where holders get exclusive access to things like websites, events, merchandise, and more.

  1. Sign up for Metamask or Coinbase Wallet and download the extension on your internet browser.
  2. Make sure you have enough Ethereum in your wallet to cover the total cost including gas fees.
  3. On mint day, there will be a Connect button at the top of our website to connect to your wallet.
  4. Click on the mint button and you will be prompted to sign for your transaction. There will be a fee associated with every transaction related to gas prices.
  5. Once you have purchased your Coda NFT, it will appear in your wallet and on Opensea.
